Hi! I'm Alex Wong.

 

I'm currently an MD-PhD Candidate at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Before starting my graduate education, I worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Yelp and CEO of Fiction for Kids. I graduated from Brown University in 2018 with an Sc.B. in Computer Science and an A.B. in Biology. In 2014, I also completed the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music certification in Piano Performance.

As a San Francisco Bay Area native, I grew up in an environment where solving problems is the norm. I'm fascinated by oncology, computational biology, social entrepreneurship, creative writing, and music. If you're working in any of these areas, please reach out!
